Burns Lake Drug Bust
Burns Lake RCMP are continuing to target the drug trade in the community.
RCMP searched a 5th Avenue home Monday night and seized marijuana, cocaine, and some magic mushrooms.
Investigators say they also discovered three firearms, cash, and drug paraphernalia in the residence.
Police arrested two local men, aged 20 and 21.
RCMP released the 20 year old while the second suspect is facing drug charges and a court appearance in may.
Burns Lake Mounties busted a substantial pot grow-op west of the community last month and arrested a Calgary man.
Police are encouraging anyone with information about the drug trade in the burns lake area to contact the RCMP or Crimestoppers.
