Suspicious Findings in Fort St. James
RCMP are remaining tight-lipped about suspicious findings in Fort Saint James this week.
The North District Major Crimes Unit along with local Mounties cordoned off an area of vacant property along Lower Road in the community.
Police haven’t revealed many details, but say the Forensic Identification Services from Prince George was called to the scene and the findings are considered suspicious.
Sergeant Rob Vermeulen of the force says there are a number of on-going investigations in the region, but says it would be irresponsible to jump to any conclusions before investigators have had a chance to properly assess the scene.
