The Wilp Wilxooskwhl Nisga’a Institute and Northwest Community college are continuing their partnership for training programs for Nsga’a students.
The aim of the partnership is to deliver academic, vocational, and technical programs as well as continuing education for adult learners.
Nisga’a Institute President and CEO Deanna Nyce says the programs will embrace their nation’s culture and reflect the educational and training needs of the communities,
Both institutions will plan the programs, which will have a specific Nisga’a curriculum, with dual credit and joint certificate, diploma and degree programs.
